Clouds drifted over the sun high above, blanketing the world in shade. The tomcat lifted his head towards the sky, watching as every ray of light was hidden behind the white cover. He blinked, noting the black shadow climbing it's way higher and higher into the air. 'An eagle.' he hummed at that, watching the creature as it flew. The tomcat sighed. 'Perhaps the prey-hunters will be able to catch it?'
The clouds moved apart, sunlight streaking through and dappling the ground. The longhaired white-and-ginger tomcat gave the area a single look, before he gave the shadowy eagle another glance. 'I suppose not. It's already out of sight.' he mused, giving his broad shoulders a quick shrug. 'Oh well. I might as well continue my walk.'
Currently, Thunder of Storm's Anger was taking a casual walk throughout the Luna Tribe's territory. He just needed some time away from the camp, and into the outdoors. Though, the territory was dangerous with mountain lions and much bigger eagles than him. Perhaps he shouldn't have gone alone?
Thunder chuckled softly under his breath. 'Too late now to ask anyone to join me.'

Dawn of the Fallen walked alone through the territory, paying close attention to her surroundings. She was a hunter and should not have been but alone, but there were no fighters to go with her so she did anyway. She kept walking and the outline of a cat walked by. She froze, not sure if it was a mountian lion or a cat. Either way, she'd be in trouble for being out alone. It wouldn't be anything new though, she was known for traveling the territory on her own, though she could barely defend herself. When thee other cat came closer she saw that it was a tribe cat, nothing to really worry about. She approached with a slight smile. The other cat was odviously a fighter, because, well, he was out alone. "Hello." she said in her slight accent. Her mother wasn't born in the tribes, but was accepted in due to the lack of fighters in the tough time the tribe had been going through. "Are you out on your own? Even for a fighter like you it is rather dangerous."

Thunder's hazel eyes caught hold of a shape nearing him, and he kept walking until he was close enough to identify the she-cat. 'A tribe cat.' he confirmed, although her name had slipped his mind at that moment. Respectfully, the white-and-ginger tomcat dipped his head, also taking note of her unique accent. And at her words, his lips twitched with a smile. "Says the prey-hunter who's by herself as well, and doesn't have the skills to defend herself." he said with amusement, though meant no ill-will at his point about her battle abilities. The tribe ran by who could fight and who could hunt. Thunder of Storm's Anger would never feel bad at being told he was a terrible hunter, for it was the blatant truth right there to see. So he hoped he didn't annoy this she-cat here with his reply.
Thunder gave the sky another look as clouds covered the sun once more, before he met the prey-hunter's gaze. "If you'd like, I could join you. I was just taking a stroll." he told her, and then gave the she-cat a warm smile. "I'm Thunder of Storm's Anger. And... your name has slipped my mind, but I believe it had 'dawn' in it? Sorry if I'm wrong. I haven't taken much time personally meeting my tribemates as of late."

Dawn nodded. "Yeah, I defiantly cannot defend myself. And I guess that doesn't stop me from coming out by myself... But I come out alone everyday if that helps my case at all." she said with a slight laugh. "I rarely go out with a companion. Unless I'm hunting."
"Sure, I'd like that for a change." she said with a slow nod. She had never really been asked to walk with someone, or had anyone ask to walk with her, so it really was a change.
"Yeah, most people call me Dawn. My full name is Dawn of the Fallen, but no one really cares to know that." she said. "Oh, Don't apologize, I don't take time to get to know many of the other clan cat either. "

Thunder nodded slowly at this knowledge. He would have to make an effort, then, to keep an eye out for Dawn while he traveled alone himself. He wouldn't want the prey-hunter becoming victim to a mountain lion's claws. "Well, be careful. You don't want to test fate." he murmured.
At her approval for Thunder to join in her walk, he gave his fluffy tail a lash and began a slow pace down his earlier path, farther from the Tribe's camp. He hummed as her named was confirmed. "Dawn of the Fallen? That's... an interesting name." he admitted, giving the she-cat a quick glance. "Also, cats should care about your name. We may shorten them, but that does not mean we are no longer called our full name." He certainly wanted cats to care that his name was Thunder of Storm's Anger, and not just simply Thunder. It was what he was called, and though 'Thunder' was much easier, that did not make it acceptable to forget it was only a nickname.

(Sorry for lateness, I completely forgot.) Dawn nodded. "You have no idea." she muttered under her breath. She had already tested fate way to much and knew far beyond anyone how true that statement was.
She laughed a little. "I always thought it was a bit weird to. To named after the day after a war? Not the best on one's reputation." She thought for a moment on his next statement. "I know that's what many think but one's name is no more important than what one wishes to be called. It's all a concept of the imagination. Dawn, Dawn of the Fallen, It's just what cat's call me, nothing all that important to cats that call you something else." she said, choosing not to explain her whole long theory. "A name isn't anything that nearly reflects on our life, it could be changed and your life could be exactly the same."

Thunder eyes rose at her words. "Oh? Have you had a few run-ins with fate a few times, Dawn?" he asked curiously.
As his paws walked, he listened to her explanation. Thunder looked surprised for a moment at Dawn spoke about her opinion on names, and slowly, his head lowered. "I was named after a loved one of mine, who no longer is here today. For that reason, I consider an original name important, thus my own. It is a gift from my mother, and all I have left of her to hold onto. And although a name can be changed, and usually for the reason of a new life, I myself see no benefit to doing that." He paused, hoping not to offend her. But Thunder of Storm's Anger held no interest in ever changing his name, or finding a reason to. He was Thunder, wherever he walked. His mother named him Thunder for a reason, and it was his last way of preserving what she left behind. The gift she had given him, alongside his life and his sister's. The tomcat raised his head towards Dawn of the Fallen. "But I respect your opinion. And you have some good points. Except... I cannot agree with that myself."

Dawn nodded. "Too many to count." she said, knowing that the scar on her ear was only a small portion of it.
She nodded. "Yeah, names are important to most cats." she smiled, knowing that other cats had other opinions, and nott wanting to add more and offed thunder. "I undersntd. Everryone has their own theories," she added in quickly.

Thunder of Storm's Anger blinked curiously at her words. He was going to ask for a story of these 'fateful encounters', but wondered if that would be too personal or odd. Instead, he only smiled mischievously. The look in his hazel eyes showing how truly interested he was to hear just what Dawn of the Fallen had seen in her lifetime.
As she went on, he hummed in agreement, not wanting to push the conversation any longer. His gaze rose the sky, finding the eagle back to circle the area. Thunder frowned, "Perhaps we should do some hunting?" he suggested, turning back to his Tribemate with a shrug. "Unless you'd rather not. I'm simply suggesting it, since I'd be here to protect you from the predators now."

Dawn tilted her head. "I ussually hunt with other hunters so I can take down big birds like Falcons and Eagles." she responded. "That's just how my mentor taught me to hunt." she added, hoping not to offend Thunder in any way. (Painfully short.)

Thunder blinked curiously at that. "You don't hunt the way the Tribe does?" he asked softly, tilting his head in puzzlement. The usual hunting parties consisted of both prey-hunters and cave-guards. While the prey-hunters caught the prey, the cave-guards would be watching the skies for hawks and eagles, or any other dangers, and be ready to protect their focused Tribemates hunting. Thunder of Storm's Anger didn't even realize some of his Tribemates did this differently, though. Wasn't it dangerous not to have any cave-guards watching their backs?

Dawn shook her head. "I hunt like the tribe does, but I also hunt the bigger animals, same thing with more hunters. Cave gaurd a are supposed to watch our backs too, but I don't ussually take time out of one's schedule just to go hunting. I ussually just go with another Hunter. " she said. "So like the tribe does, minus a few members of the hunting party." she responded. She really hoped that none of this offended Thunder.

Thunder nodded briskly at her explanation, continuing his pace for their walk. He hummed at that, "I suppose I understand. But you seem like a cat death may toy with. And the more chances and risks you take...." he trailed off, giving Dawn of the Fallen a quick glance. "I worry, that's all. As my Tribemate, it's unsettling knowing that at any moment, you may be out in the territory at the coincidental moment a mountain lion is. And with no cave-guards...." The golden-and-white tomcat paused as he thought about it more. But then he winced, quickly turning his head back to Dawn with panic in his eyes. "I don't mean to offend you, Dawn! I'm just--well... I know you can probably handle yourself, and it's rude of me to... uhm... assume you're easy prey for a predator. I'm sorry."

"It's fine." she laughed, having had that lecture many times before in worse forms. "I have plenty of luck from what I know, and if that luck runs dry, your right, I might be in a lot of danger. But I also have come face to face with a mountain lion and have learned that they are bigger and have more weight, therefor if I run with a bunch of zigzags, it won't be able to quite catch up. They don't give up easily, but being smaller also means that if I get enough of a lead I can hide in a small cave. I have strategie planned out for everything but falcons, which I can ussualy duck under cover to avoid." she explained as best as she could.

Thunder of Storm's Anger nodded slowly in understanding, listening to her strategies for different dangerous scenarios. He was glad Dawn had everything planned out, at font. "That's if everything goes right, though." he murmured.
