Minkfrost , wait it's JCOON!! xD *when you just realize it's your friend because of the username and flip the table over*

"What a beautiful day!" Sorrelstep meowed, stretching out her legs to take in the sunlight's glow. It warmed her calico fur, making the she-cat feel as if she were a flare of the prettiest fire in that moment. Her fluffy tail lashed behind her, and the green-eyed warrior gave the area a quick glance. "Isn't it? Oh, look at the pretty clouds! And the sun is so warm! What do you think, Minkfrost?" The beautiful she-cat turned around, batting her long eyelashes romantically towards Minkfrost, the deputy who she had taken against his will asked to go hunting with her.

{also, Sorrelstep has a kinda weird mind, so in narration I'll often call her 'beautiful' or 'pretty' because in her eyes, she's just like that. That also explains the whole 'pretty fire' feeling she decided on... yeah... xD just pointing that out so it doesn't seem like I've giving her some extra points in appearance or anything }

    Minkfrost was calmly waving his tail, "I agree, it is a pretty nice day," he said simply, his long body shuddering as he felt the warmth go through it. "Where's a good spot to start?" he asked, her, his pale green eyes darting toward the warrior, letting her decide. His ears twitched as he tried to hear any noise, or find any scent of prey.

Sorrelstep hummed, lost staring at his handsome face as he spoke. 'Oooooooh, his voice is so... dreeaamy....' she thought to herself, absolutely stuck frozen in love with him. He was so calm. So regal and perfect. Minkfrost was too much to handle -- didn't he know what he was doing to her? She felt her whole body turn to ash! The wind would just blow her away at this point!

Although his question cut through her daze, and slowly, Sorre blinked her eyes rapidly to regain her composure. "Anywhere is fine with me~" she purred, turning back to the area with a love-struck smile. 'Just us. Alone... together... sqeeeEEEEE!'

    Minkfrost rubbed a paw over his face a few times, before responding to her reply. "Well, maybe by the base of the mountain, for this time of day?" he asked, blinking. "Are.. you okay?" he asked, his head tilted, blinking a few times at the way she acted.

Sorrelstep murmured her agreement to hunting at the mountain, again finding her thoughts drifting elsewhere. And yet again, his voice cut her out of her fantasy. "O-oh, me? You're worrying about little 'ol me?" she asked, giving Minkfrost the most awe-struck look. He was such a sweetheart, worrying about how she was doing! He's just perfect! Sorre offered a warm smile that seemed rather natural, except the obvious love in her dark blue eyes. "I'm just fine now that you're here, Mink-sama." She turned back towards the land before her, gesturing with her muzzle towards the distance. "You can lead. I'll follow."

    Minkfrost awkwardly looked away for a moment, shrugging, before taking off on their hunt. I hope we get some good prey.. he thought. He tried to scent some prey on the way down the mountain, being careful of loose rocks. The prey can hide underneath these rocks too.. he continued, occasionally looking around for a sign.

Sorrelstep followed close behind, her eyes catching on his walking form more than once on their trip. She just couldn't take her eyes off of him! Could anyone even blame her when he looked so... handsome. Did he even know it? He must know it! He was the most handsome cat she's ever seen, how could he not know it?! Oh, WhisperClan help her, she was so much in love with him! So, so, so, SO much in love... could he see that as well? What if he knew?! What if he knew all along she had fallen for him?! Minkfrost knew! He must know! Was he also in love with her? Such a beautiful she-cat of MistCLan... how could he not be? Minkfrost was nice, she was nice... Minkfrost was handsome, she was beautiful... THEY WERE PERFECT!!

She could see it now. Minkfrost's handsome face turning towards her as they walked. Leaves falling around them, the wind softly blowing their fur. His eyes full of affection. "Sorrelstep, there's something I have to tell you." he would say, leaning closer. She would lean close as well, struck by his sudden words.

"I'm listening, my love." she would say, fluttering her long lashes. His ears would turn red with a blush, but Minkfrost would go on.

"I... I... I l--"

Sorrelstep let out a gasp as her eyes caught on movement down the mountain. Movement ahead of her and Minkfrost. A small mouse skittered along the rocks, ignoring the two Clan cats. It's small size and brown shape made it well-hidden among the mountain. Did Minkfrost see it? Slowly, Sorre lowered into a hunter's crouch, moving forward and past the Clan deputy and towards the scampering prey. 'Ooooh, I better not mess up in front of him... I better not... I better not... BUT WHAT IF I DO?!'

    Minkfrost was walking at a silent, quick pace. He scented mouse, and it took a while for him to find it, but that was right after Sorrelstep noticed it. He froze, letting her continue, since she was already crouched, She'll get it, he thought, trying to not move or make noise.

(So shooooort. ;v; But this is priceless~)

When she was close enough, Sorrelstep leaped. Her paws landed on the rocks, making stones be thrown down the incline. The mouse squealed, attempting to whip around and out of sight. But as quick as a fox, her jaws were around it's neck, and she gave it a clean and easy death.

The loose rocks under her paws shifted, and Sorrelstep stumbled in an attempt not to fall. But she backed away into safety, the mouse swinging effortlessly from she jaws.

And then she sent a warm, loving smile towards Minkfrost.

    Minkfrost watched as she made a clean kill, but put his fur on end when he thought she'd fall from the rocks. The sleek brown tom sighed in relief, and gave out a smile of approval back, his ears turning toward the slight sounds. He jumped down toward her and nodded, nose twitching at the smell of the kill.
