Sorrelstep

Nettletuft stared at the fresh-kill pile. It was as big as it usually was. Nettle sighed thinking if he should go hunting again. Nah others can hunt now. I don't need to hunt all the time. He took a seat near the warrior's den. The spiky tom stared at the camp exit with yellow eyes. 

Nettletuft then caught a cat scent. His eyes narrowed. Nettle recognized the scent. "Sorrelstep." He spoke before twitching his tail.

[Sorrelstep]

Sorrelstep was just leaving the warrior's den when her eyes caught on Nettletuft. She smiled as he noticed her. "Hello, Nettletuft!" she meowed, trotting closer to her brother and taking a seat beside him. "Are you back from hunting?" she asked, giving her ears a soft twitch. Sorre glanced at the fresh-kill pile, finding it just as filled as usual. Which was good for MistClan. Was it the work of her dearest Minkfrost?

Nettletuft nodded. "The prey is just waiting to be caught." The spiky tom muttered before giving his tail a twitch. He looked at his sister with yellow eyes. She was one of the very few cats he trusted. Nettletuft twitched his ears before speaking.

"Sorrelstep, have you been doing anything?" He questioned narrowing his eyes and waiting for a response from the she-cat.

[Sorrelstep]

Sorrelstep hummed at those words. "I'll have to take a hunting patrol out myself." she purred warmly, turning her dark blue eyes to Nettletuft's yellow ones. Despite Sorrelstep's happy and social personality, in all honesty, there were very few cats she truly trusted. And one of those cats was Nettletuft by default.

At his question, her eyes narrowed in confusion. "Doing anything? Um, noooo...?" she drawled, still puzzled by what he was implying here.

Nettletuft sighed.

"Your going to have to ask Minkfrost about that." The spiky dark gray tom murmured before twitching his tail and shaking out his long-furred thick pelt. Nettletuft stayed silent for awhile since he did not want to talk anymore. In fact he did not actually enjoy talking.

Sorre felt her smile rise at the mention of Minkfrost, and her eyes seemed to take on a distant look. She faded off into a fantasy, one of her common ones, where Minkfrost's handsome face would whisper in her ear... where her beautiful deep blue eyes would glitter in affection... such a wonderful future she couldn't wait to come true....

"Yeah... I'll have to... mmhmm...." she murmured, still lost in thought.

Nettletuft stared at his sister with yellow eyes. "Is sometime wrong?" The spiky gray tom asked blinking his eyes before waiting for a response from the calico she-cat. "Your acting strange." Nettletuft commented before sighing.

[Sorrelstep]

Sorrelstep blinked, snapping out of her fantasy. And then she laughed breezily with a wave of her tail. "Hahaha... I'm is just fine. Perfectly fine. How about you, Nettletuft?"
