Deer That Skips On Moor was born to a she-cat named Heron That Flies Above Water along with her older sister, Lily That Blooms In Pond. Deer had always been curious about things ever since she opened her eyes. Lily was the opposite of her sister. She was calm and quiet. One day the sister's father Eagle That Soars Near Clift caught greencough and passed away since the herbs that were given to heal his cough did not work. Deer's mother Heron That Flies Above Water was heartbroken when her mate died.
Deer That Skips On Moor became a to-be with her sister Lily That Blooms In Pond. She trained hard, wanting to become a good prey-hunter. Lily trained as a cave-guard. Soon Deer met Blue Stream Near Shore. Blue was a friendly cat but sometimes got a bit snappy. They soon became friends.
